decided to take the plunge....

well just as i had suspected when i bought my L it wouldnt be too long before it had a chip and pulley...i was a little worried about warranty at first but hell you only live once so you minds well have some fun, im goin 6lber on a daily driver with chip and with the recent thread im also gonna throw on some new spark plugs......probably when im over at the shop too ill end up going into credit debt and buy some much deserved traction bars and DS loop.....any thoughts on whether or not i can hang with a zo6, im modding my truck until i can consistently beat them because they are everywhere in my town...

Just a 6# lower and chip that Z-06 will most likely still have his way with you.

A Z06 will still own you with those mods. Better pray for driver error on their part. I wouldn't race any on the highway either....even an 11 second Lightning would have a hard time pulling on one up top.

I am with Rob, nothing a little shot of nitrous can't handle. I raced a Z06 the other day at a redlight. From a dead stop I owned him without having to use the nitrous. From a roll however it was a lot closer and he probably would have won except he caught me when I was testing out my 100hp nitrous program. Poor guy never new what hit em.

yeah hope for that driver error..

friend of mine was racing a Z06 in his SS Camaro.... first run, the camaro owned the Z06 and we were like

then they went at it again and the Z06 walked that chevy like a dog...

talked to the guy after, he shifted 2->5 instead of 2->3 on the first run which is why he got spanked
