Question Bassani Installation

I recently purchased the Bassani cat back system. God grant me patience I had to wait a week to get into my exhaust guy! He quoted me $40 over the phone. I arrived Sat. morning and after getting my L up in the air - he said he wasn't going to do it. More involved than he thought and said he had to cut into the pipes - there is an oxygen sensor in the way, blah blah blah - excuse after excuse.

I talked to a Ford Tuner in the area and he said no problem between $50 and $75 to install, but I can't get into see him for two weeks.

Does any one know if there are changes on the '03 that complicate this install or is it a straight bolt on?

Thanks Rob and zbornac, my guy only put aside 30 minutes for the install and he had a big vette job coming for a Z06, big $$$ - so he just didn't want to get into my job, I suspect?

He did an awesome job on my '66 fastback, so I trust him with the L, life goes on.

It is a simple bolt on. Just remove the stock muffler and bolt the new setup on. No welding or anything. Everything hangs right back in stock locations.

Thanks Joe , hey - I moved from Dearborn to Florida in 1998. Did you get a chance to go to the Ford 100th birthday? How was it?

Dude, this guy is BS's, YOU! 30 minute in an out! The hardest part is removing the stock one. Go to a neighborhood Midas and give the guys 50 bucks and I will guarantee this will be done in 25 minutes tops!

Musclees is right, the hardest part is taking the old c/b off. Mine was crimped on pretty hard. Simple install after that.
