Testing ignition coils? HELP!!

Anybody know what the resistance of the ignition coils should be or of a way of checking them? I have a miss on acceleration/boost (can definately feel it) but at idle it feels/sounds OK (may be missing but I can't notice it). At idle a cylinder balance test is equal for all. Don't have a way to test under load (of course that's when i'm having the problem) and am hoping that someone can help me with Ohm specs or an alternative way to test/check the coils.
