'01 blower rotors flaking

I have an '01 with about 16k on the clock. I took the blower off to get cleaning out the oil and noticed there's teflon flaking off the rotors of my blower. I thought this wasn't supposed to happen with '01s? Or is this normal and just deal with it? What should I do?

I remember reading about this, I thought the flaking was fixed for the 01s also.
What month was yours built?
I would not live with it. You are still under warranty with only 16k miles, take it in. I think the flakes can clog up the intercooler and reduce boost.
Good luck, hope it works out for you.
