Ok today on my way to work doing about 55mph and the truck acted like it was going to die for spilt second. Like I got no power. It kept doing this. I didn't pay attention to the other guages, just noticed the rpm's would bottom then go back to where they were. I drive home no problems till I am almost home. stumbles liek before and catchse back up.

I pull into garage lift hood with it running. starts running bad and dies. So I start it back up. runs for a bit and notice my Odometer flash ---------- across it. Speedo pegs at 140 and stays there after thr truck dies.

Restart, same thing. I pulled my chip and pushed it in and out a few times.

Started it up runs fine for now. Need to go for a drive later.

Does this sound like bad contact between chip and PCM??

If it does it again I will pull chip and put on stock Maf and see if it still does it.

 

That ------ seems like a sign that the chip is loose. I'd check the contacts on the PCM too...they may be worn.

 

duct tape will fix that lose chip. or so i've heard

 

using velccro right now.
