after seeing a few posts about FOrd having the Lightning in 2004 as a carry over of the 2003, I called 800-Ford-Svt and asked, that is also what they said as well as:

No Sonic Blue, silver is back and a new color, YELLOW

if thats the case, I'll for sure be getting one.

Anyone else confirm this yet?

Yes, I wish they would have did yellow back in 2000 when Ford polled SVT dealers for a new color (silver or yellow).

the 2004 Color is Competition Yellow (replaces Zinc Yellow)

 

Yellow is ugly IMO. I would never buy a yellow vehicle. I thought that color was reserved for taxi's!!!

 

I personally don't like yellow. It reminds me of a Dodge R/T.

Just spoke to one of the good folks at SVT and he claims that yellow is indeed a NASTY RUMOR...silver is back but there will be no yellow.

 

To bad for Ford as I would have picked up one in yellow.
