cmon, if you wanna do high cal handguns DE all the way
Althought personally i like .357's, no reason to fire out 6 (or 7) rounds and just stand there like an idiot.

I think this gun was made to stop tanks or something.

Good God man! That is scary as he11! Sorry to hear about your truck. At least the wheels came off before you got on the road and built up any speed. I could see some major damage or even injury if that would have happened. Be patient, people like to brag so maybe you will eventually find out who did it. Then you can open up a 55 gallon drum full of whoop azz on em!

Best of luck to you in your quest to find the POS SCUMBAG(s)!

Edt: Ohhhh just noticed your a TX boy! Corpus here, just shout down my way if ya want some assistance when ya find em.....be glad to give ya a hand!

Agree with the Desert Eagle, especially after seeing Demi Moore holding them in the Charlies Angels "Full Throttle" preview. My preference would be the .50 Action Express. You might miss, but I think the concussion from the caliber will do damage by itself

As far as the locks, yeah theyre easy to take off with a smaller sized socket, but I think while hammering it on, they would:
1) set off your alarm ( especially if you have a shock sensor)
2) draw attention to your truck because of the noise

Good luck in getting the L fixed.

The concussion from firing will half kill you. Im not a real big guy, 155 lbs at 6"1', but to for me basically imagine taking a metal bat, and just hitting a telephone phone as hard as you possibly can. Demi Moores in the new chalies angels? ill have to check that out, havent seen her in a movie for a long while.

Oh yeah and this gun as i understand it will do insane amounts of damage, your right, if you get hit in the shoulder or something you probably wont have an arm.

We caught the ffff.....

Unfortunately(for him) we caught the same guy running around here doing the same to lightnings in this area. Right now he dressed in all black leather (head to toe) and there is a chain around his neck. Hes got this black mask on to. He is being housed in 8x4 wooden box and has a red ball jammed in his mouth. He answers to the name GIMP? Looks like he has a new career!

Good gosh...how long does it take for an adjuster to come out? I've got everything lined up to get my truck fixed but I have to wait on the insurance adjuster to quote everything first. Any idea on how long it normally takes these guys to make it out?

Huh? From your original post, the damage was done on Thursday night of last week. I assume you reported it sometime on Friday. Today is only Monday. Most insurance adjusters don't work on the weekend, so it hasn't even been one full business day. What insurance company do you have? I find this to be one of the biggest problems. I've had State Farm ever since I was able to drive, and they have taken care of me very well. Good luck and let us know what the outcome is.

However, if a thief wants your rims, locking lugs will only slow them down. I lost my key for my lugs a couple of years ago, and the guy at the gas station took them off in like 10 seconds. I have also heard of thieves hammering a slightly too small socket over the lug and then unscrewing them.

Dave
Yeah, I have a set of sockets designed specifically to remove rounded off/worn lug nuts and locking lug nuts as well. They slide on and "screw" onto the lug nut. They came in real handy when I had to take off a lug nut that was completely rounded and also when one of my locking lugs broke on my old truck.

Good luck though...

Yeah, I'm just impatient. This happened at 6:20am on friday morning and I had reported it to the 24 hour unit at State Farm at about 7:00am. They told me it would be about 24 hours. I didn't realize they didn't work saturday though. Either way, they had ALL day friday and a good part of today(refer to impatient statement ). Hopefully they'll be done by the end of the day so I can get the repair started tomorrow.
