What is the best way to clean/wax the Front Bumper

I'm left with the option of removing it and taking it to a local paint/body shop to get the damn thing looking new again. Only 22k miles on it (but it's freeway miles).

Have a lot of bug SH$T on it as well as some pits

Looks like a cheap paint job when the truck is fully waxed and detailed.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get the damn thing back to normal.

  • Have it refinished
  • Buy a new one

Which ever method you choose you might want to look into getting a bra to protect it.

Anyone with a truck should invest in a power washer. With saying that, use simple green and soak the **** out of the front bumper. Then blast it with the power washer. Keep repeating this step until its clean.

Then break out a buffer and goto town with some 3M Finesse It II. Then wax it.

Cant do anything for the pits unless you repaint it.
