Do y guys know any webpage where I can search for used cars in US ?
And how mutch should I pay for a L -99 or -00 ?

I also wounder if any one here have contacts that can help me with shipping to Sweden ?

Today I'am a Jeep (grand cherokee) Wj 2000 owner and whant something with a little more power and I think a L is perfect!

It would be well worth your time to check with your local authorities about what would be required to make the L comply with Sweeden's vehicle laws. I know of people who have brought their cars from the US to France and even after making all of the required changed still are having problems getting the vehicle registered.

autotrader is probly the most well known so you will probly be able to find more of what you are looking for there

good luck

frank

EDIT: i went to nloc and could not find him on a search. mabye he has a different name but i know he is on here or nloc. mabye someone else will know.

Thanks guys for all your replys

Have looked at www.cars.com and find L (1999 to 2000) in the price range $18000 to $28000
Is that a fair price range ?

Well That could be a good price range, but Give us the information about a specific "One" lightning, example a '00 with 100,000 miles should not be 24,000 but if its 18,000, that could be a fair price. good luck man!

How come you want a 99-00 only?

If it's because of a price thing, then find out exactly how much it's going to cost to get the vehicle to you + the price of the cost of the vehicle itself. It may turn out to be only slightly cheaper then getting a new 03'.

superfords.
I will send a mail to him right now. Thanks

captainoblivious.
Yeah, its a price thing
A brand new L 03's cost here in sweden $56.000
If I find a L for lets say $20000, the shipping is about $4000 and the taxes is 25% here in sweden, it will end with $30000. (not exacly, but a fast calc. )

Lightning

Johan,

I have a 2002 Lightning (red) and love it. It is the best of the 18 cars and trucks I have owned. I have had no problems at all!

I don’t know the current gas price in Sweden, but the Lightning needs Premium fuel. I get 13 miles per gallon (5.5 kilometers per liter). So, if you drive a lot, it will be expensive!

Good luck shopping! If you can get one – you will love it!

I drive about 6000miles / year with my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2000 and that car has not so good gas milage 11-12mpg in the city and 20mpg on the highway.
The gas price in Sweden is $1.05/liter ($4.23/gallon), how mutch is it in US ?

James-01L:
Thanks.
To bad the administrator has disabled the e-mail and PM-function.

Hejsan Johan, Kul at see en annan svensk. Bensin priset i Texas ar runt $1.50/gal.

To check what a fair price would be for a lightning I would go to www.Edmunds.com and fill in information and then look at the fair price.

I looked into shipping a motorcycle back to Sweden a few years ago, before I ended up staying here, and the cost was about $1300 to ship with boat. Also shipped a motorcycle + a container with equipment and tools to Isle of Man a few years ago by air and that was about $4000, with boat from England to Isle of Man. This was done through Emery World Wide. I think we got a quote from DHL as well. I'd check with any of the big cargo companies in Sweden too.

Got any questions you can e-mail me at min150mph@hotmail.com

PS I think I might have Anders " The Swede's" e-mail somewhere.
