can I tow a car with drag radials?
can I tow a car with drag radials?
I'm going out of town to race and I'm going to take my Cobra on the trailer. Question is, do you think it's safe to tow with the drag radials I have on the truck (nitto) or should I put the stock F1's back on it?
I already searched but found no one with the answer.
Thanks!

Put them up to 32PSI and not worry about it. My brother has towed twice with his Lightning towing his GN which weighs more then the stang and we have a solid floor trailer. I wouldn't worry at all. Goodluck. -Mat-

Im looking at it this way, if i was towing my cobra with my truck like i usually do i wouldent be towing my pride and joy on racing tires. what if it rains or something ? i would want all the traction u can get but thats just my 2 cents

If you want your drag radials to last, I wouldn't pull with them, I'd save them. I know a guy that had 800 miles on some and was showin belts... Dont wasted them man..

I've been to 165 with those tires and no trailer. I also street race so I'll probably die like tomorrow or something. I mean the big 50th anniversery corvette rally is in town. As Long as I don't meet up with any of those twin turbo 427's I'll be okay.
One of those rear nitto drag radials has a patch...
