I want one, as I've already told you, Tom. Just trying to figure out which size to buy. Anyone know what the stock pulley size is on a KB?

All right, let me try a different approach. If in fact the standard pulley IS 3.5" then according to my calculations a 3.0" pulley should yield a boost increase of 2.7 p.s.i., which is exactly what I want. But, what concerns me is whether I can still use the belt supplied with my 6 lb. pulley, or whether I need to exchange it for a shorter one. I calculate that the belt path should be about 0.8" shorter with the 3" pulley [?r(1)-?r(2)]. If this in incorrect maybe one of you engineering types would let me know. But if it is close, will the stock idler system take up the slack?
Or, idea number two. Forget the calculations, lets get pragmatic. Is anyone already using the Metco 6 lb. pulley with a Reichard 3" pulley on the KB? If so, can you tell me the p/n on the Gatorback belt you are using. Thanks.

I just installed my 3" reichard from tommy on my truck. I stuck on a 68" belt with my 6lb lower and it works fine. I suppose you could go a little smaller, but it looks good. I did have to grind a little on the supercharger snout. But that is okay. Thanks Tommy for the quick delivery.

Alphadog, I have only seen two KB supercharger install in person. Both KBs came with the 3.5" pulley. When I ordered mine Sue said they came with the 3.5" pulley. I didn't want the 3.5" pulley, but that is what it came with. I am sure yours has the 3.5" pulley.

I'll post some pictures tomorrow. What the main problem was is the shaft for the blower isn't centered exactly in the middle of the case. I don't know if this is common or not. I took off about a 1/16th of an inch off the right side and top and bottom of the snout edge. It works good and now with the 6lb lower I'm getting right at 18psi at the shift at wot.

I'm a little puzzled, Bunny. Which s/c are you running on your truck, the Eaton or the KB. I am NOT about to do any grinding on MY snout.

I have two superchargers. The KB is the one which is currently on my truck. Grinding won't hurt the supercharger, and you may not even have to do that. I don't know if Don did. I plan on eventually getting the s/c polished so it won't be a problem for me. I have already ground off the KB logo on the front.
