Ever since I got rid of my Kenne Bell S/C Cobra, I've been looking to a buy a Lightning. Well I finnally picked one up yesterday. I got a 2003 Black using the x-plan.
One thing is for sure these trucks draw a crowd.
I have to take it back to the dealer tommorow due to a few problems. The wipers come on without being turned on, and there is a vibration above 45, feels like a tire out of balance.
The S/C is alot louder than my old kenne bell, it sounds like ford wanted you to hear wine when you got into boost.
I dont know much about the mods for these trucks, but hopefully it wont take me long to catch up using this website.

Welcome to the wonderful life of lightning ownership. My 1999 was gone in december and I had to go 30 awful days without having a lightning. Was the worst time in my life and when I had the oppurtunity to get one on Jan 1. there was no way I could turn it down!

BTW, If you haven't noticed, there's a FAQ and a search engine that will save you a lot of abuse from the rascals that hang out behind the gym waiting for the 'newbie' to come by.
