How much will the L tow?

How much will the L tow?
I am moving and want to know how much the L will tow. (99 stock : the manual says 8800 lbs. am i reading that correctly?

The manual state 5,000 lbs..you must be looking at the regular F150 section, not the Lightning supplement.
