Why is it that some people on this forum have a hard time accepting anything outside the Lightning circle? I'm a fan of anything that looks good and is customized beyond stock with class. It may not be what us as individuals would choose, or might not be worth the cost but to make the remark that it is ugly or looks like crap, only shows me that a person is narrow minded. Not everything cool has to be a Lightning or have a blue oval attached to it.

Okay, I'm off the sop box now.
Hey I love that truck! Then again I like CRABS TOO!

I'd trade my truck for a Harley 4 door loaded over a Chevy SS any day.

Heck the Harley's run 13's with a little mods. and they weigh about 1000 lbs more than the L.

darn, I actually like it better than the sonic blue... it's just way to much of an easter egg to me.

Oh i love any truck too, me personally i thought the new dodge rams were awesome, but it didnt fit in my driveway so i turned to the f150 (you wouldnt believe how many mirrors ive knocked off). In any case, that truck is very well taken care of, and is a prime example of that vehicle, but i still thing its kinda ugly. That front end has grown on me somewhat, but the rest is just bah, plus to label it a sports truck

It looks nice, but I don't want to buy one. If it had 500 hp and 500 ft lbs of torque, I'd think about getting one.

See you in my rear view mirror..

Plus from the title of your thread, **** on your SS. Glad to see you have moved on...

Don't come back now ya' hear..

I think the truck looks really nice minus the front clip. The front of the truck looks hideous. From the front wheels back it is a tight truck. I just hate the new chevy front clip. Time to put and escalade front on it.

Well, I am not with the majority on this one. I think it looks pretty good. 345 h.p normally aspirated 6.0L, with all wheel drive, not a bad daily driver in my opinion. It will do a lot better in the winter months than a Lightning too. I looked at one about a month ago, but I still like the GMC Denali pick up better. I was thinking about trading in my Tahoe for a pick up instead and was considering both of them. The Denali is all wheel drive and steering, that would be real nice when towing the Lightning.
Just my opinion of course.

Some of you guys.

I like my Lightning. Hell, I love it! But the SS isn't bad at all. And the numbers from Car and Driver have it turning 0-60 in 6.3 seconds and the 1/4 in 14.8 @ 90 mph. Not L territory; but, I would bet that it feels stronger at part throttle, and is a lot more satisfying to drive everyday in and around town. It is too expensive though; and, I would prefer a regular cab version.

"If it had 500 hp and 500 ft lbs of torque," It still would,nt be seeing anything but my rear end!

But, it looks sweet sitting there.
