Thumbs up Yes... there will be a 2004 Lightning...

Just thought you would all like to know that there will be a 2004 L in the same body style and specs as the '03's. And from the looks of it they will be bringing back silver as a color in addition to the current colors. Again, just thought you all might like to know.

I can post the papers later if you guys wanna see em... just dont have time to do it right this moment

There was no silver in '03? I thought the colors that were "in and out" were:

True Blue - 2002 only
Sonic Blue - 2003 only
Oxford White - 2000-2001 / limited 2002-3

I have a long time friend that owns a Ford Dealership. (Not one that deals SVT) Anyway, he was recently told (last week) by FORD higher ups that the '04 L will be exactlry the same as the '03 L. Colors will be the same with the addition of the light Silver seen in the past. Again, no changes in '04 L's.

I am sure the tuners will be happy to hear this.

they lost the 04 Harley , so this helps.

Ya but for those that wanted to trade in for a Cobra,
this is NO GOOD.
Without 04 L's the 99-03's would be sort after more and especially one like mine with still only 11k on it.
Plus it's 100% stock and has no wrrnty issues, or service record

Anybody wanna make me an offer

So predictable...

Looks like the only monkey wrench in the machine is the additon of Silver to the available colors for 04, you know what that means...one of the colors will be retired...which one will it be? I bet white...as was initially intended (1-2) years ago.

I wish they would have offered Silver for the 03's...

How is this for a planned product strategy...Ford makes 6 years of Gen II L's, just double the year run of Gen I's.

99-00's
01-02's
03-04's

Minor changes every two years...
