Special Cowled Hood
AAhhh crap, can't get pictures to work. It's the cowled hood with the built in guages in the cowled part. I've only seen it on a gray Harley and a grabber blue f-150. I saw the blue truck on the show Trucks on TNN. Saw the hood again and thought it looked really good.
Here you go guys:

However, since Terry at Proglass sold his molds to another company, it is still up in the air as to whether this cowl hood will see continued production. I know they are done up in limited quanities and last I heard REM or somebody got one of the last ones.
It's a pretty trick hood with a carbon fiber insert option too.

Mr. ****,
You'll be happy to learn that the little screens in the back of your hood might be my handy work
I do know for a fact that Terry was done with all of them ( well, there is one more being made now
) so you should be seeing that hood shortly. You'll be VERY happy with the quality.

Well, I decided to have Terry paint the screens black on my hood. Initially I was going to send him a set of polished screens but then it occured to me what a royal pain in the a$$ it would be to keep them shiny so the monochromatic look will be fine, especially when you see what the center of the hood will look like
Another idea that's really cool and it's what Terry did on his Smurf truck is to paint the whole back section of the hood (excluding the screens, leave them satin aluminum) a matte black. It will give enough contrast to the gloss black to look really stealth and will also cut down on the glare from the gauges at night when they reflect a bit off the windshield.

Cool, thanks for the suggestion rob. Im using Lunar Gauges, so the matte black should really help on the glare.
Did you use the windshield washer that attach to the wiper arms? I gotta pick up a set of those.
