made a little organizer to secure my slicks in my bed...

It's real nice. I measured the tires, a cooler, and left room for the jack. And it turned out real nice. There actually is even room for my stock 18" f1's in there also if I am using my et streets, I can put my 18's in there also. And it's nice to have a better jack with ya than the one they gave you from factory, and a cooler for ice if I go to the track. There is also room for my helmet back there also if I dont put it in the cab. Just wanted to pass the idea on to others. Im sure others have already done something similar, just wanted to show a pic and let ya know it turned out better than planned. Thanks, Shane

cool !

I went the low tech way.

My Et Streets if I roll them all the way up against the cab side by side will just fit. Then I take my craftsman 3 ton jack with handle, it wedges perfectly diagionally against the tires and the handle goes in the opposite corner of the bed. I have a plastic bin that goes in last and fits between the jack handle and the tailgate

Everything is locked in. I dont have any pictures ..

Doug

Looks nice.

You might want to invest in a bed mat or at least a sheet of plywood to keep your bed from getting scratched up slidding the jack and other things in and out.

my dad and I were just talking about nailing plywood to the frame I've made, then flipping it over and putting it back in the truck with a bottom to it like you said. Then, I should be putting everything (the slicks and the jack) ON the plywood and it's still held in place by the 2x4's. sounds good and thanks, Shane

kind of stuff in for trips or groceries...good idea Shane.

Get your bed sprayed - I had Line-X sprayed in mine - LOVE IT! I throw everything in the truck, and NEVER worry about scraping the paint. Best $400 you'll ever spend on making your truck last longer.

Nice idea Shane

But like Doug said, mine also fit great.
The entire ride to and from Cecil, (maybe 8 hours on the road)
They didn't move an inch,
and that was driving with 3 other Lightnings + a Cobra
having lots of fun on the roads

Like Doug, I discovered the "MT stay in the front if you
load them opposite one another beyond the wheel humps"
trick. I now have the Mac Daddy aluminum racing jack
and the 4-way linched down to the expandable bar across the
back that keeps the wife from rolling around ... <grin>

All in all, until I get 4 complete racing tires and wheels, it will
have to remain lo-tech. ... I like the simplicity and the fact that
the bed is empty when I run ...

But I like the organiser idea also ... Maybe a slide out picnic
table support organiser. We could make Meeelions .....
