i heard about someone running this on an old fox body. He said at a light he could go form normal quiet exhaust to straight pipes with the flip of a switch. I thought he was tuggin my chain but i guess not. Seems like an ok set up. If it is before the cats you can still pass inspection...

Arrow

They are only $200 here: Power Plate. I got a dual a few days ago. I have to finish up another project first, but I should get to them in about 2 weeks. Will post the results.

They had these in Truckin' too. For off-road and track use only!

I thought about it, but I read awhile back that you will loose power with straight pipes. So you could spend a couple hundred dollars for louder sound at the press of a button, but less power.

No noticable power loss here

I'm running two regular cutouts on my L, not the power plates but the manual ones with the 3 wingnuts....mounted em after the cats. It's pretty loud and I noticed no drop in power or E.T.

I would have to agree with you sickboy. I also just had two cutouts installed before the muffler, really loud and have not noticed a loss.
