I've had my nittos on for about a year, I've driven many times in the rain with no problems and cut 1.7 60' times on a prepped track. One thing I did notice was when the tires are cold, tires spin very easily until they warm up.

why waste the best possible launch out of the tires? i see so many people do that and i have no idea why

I have nitto 555R's on my truck and its a daily driver. I love them they hook very nicely off the line. I drive in the rain with them alot too(when I have too) they are not bad at all.

The reason for that is to make sure there is no debris on the tires and make sure there is no wheel hop.

Thumbs up

I love mine! They hook REALLY good on the street. Im running 28 lbs. in mine and having no problems. I couldnt accelerate more than half throttle without the F1's breaking loose, but I can hammer it now from a stop and might get a little chirp then its gone!

I pulled into my parking lot this morning like a crazy man. I guess the drag radials do pick up everything on the road...
