Cool Non-slip upper pulley

For dial-ur-boost upper pulley users, there is now a non-slip replacement that fits our hubs. The claim is that there is no excessive belt wear involved. Just a heads up.

I wish someone would offer something similar for the KB Lightnings.

Will those grooves tear up a belt quicker than not having the grooves cut?

Yup, they are exactly the same. There is absolutely no difference between the the two.

(Absolutely no sarcasm intended) lol

There are differences between them. The reichard doesn't use a hub with four bolts holding the pulley on for a quick change out. The reichard must be pressed on. Also, one pulley is black while the other is polished.

I asked the same question and was told that the wear wasn't excessive. Terry said that three months testing on a GTP and '03 Cobra is the basis of this answer. I would say that the belt will probably wear more with this pulley; but, as long as it doesn't just cut it up, I would be happy.

I like the more satin looking finish myself though, I only bought a 2# lower just so I could get my other 2 lbs from that pulley...the stock one is just so plain looking.

Suposidly there isnt any excessive wear on the belt...I can see why you might think that though with those slits cut the way they are...only time will truley tell...Im going to get one in a few monthes unless I hear some horror stories in the mean time
