Hey,

Everytime i brake hard or firmly I hear a click or a clunk type noise very similar to the clunk when turning.

Anyone offer any insight?

 

Sounds like ABS to me... when it activates (very easily on the L I noticed) it makes the pedal vibrate and you hear this nasty squishy thumping sound. Does it clunk when turning?

 

Sounds like a differential issue. Are you lowered at all?

 

Mine did almost the same thing... it would "clunk" under firm braking, but only after it would clunk while turning and vise versa (not everytime like yours) . I guess it was clunking back and forth. Herb's Washers fixed it for me.

This also sounds like the ABS to me, I get the same thing, almost twice a day when braking hard. I just let off the brake a little and then continue braking like normal.

 

I agree.. I have the same issue, and plan on installing the washers. It's the st00pid bolt slipping in the oblong hole when braking hard.

Who was the genius that designed THAT part of the L ????

 

Okay, sounds like it is time for me to get the washer.
