Piston/Head/Bearing Coatings

Couldn't find a thread on this. Is anyone who is building a new bottom end or engine bothered to get their pistons coated? I see you can get piston skirts & bearings coated with an anti-friction material...and piston tops & combustion chambers coated with ceramic heat shield coating.

So anyone done it or got an opinion?

Thanks

Douglas
