I called the parts dept for my Ford dealer. They say there are three different part #'s for a CUX2 computer. Which one do I need. I am going to switch from a CXN1 to CUX2.

On a side note. Can I switch the computer from a 1999 Lightning which has been reflashed to CUX2? Then switch the chips out of the keys and have everything work w/o having to go to the ford dealer and get the Pats programmed?

 

Can't really help you with the part number part for the CUX2 PCM. But you will have to have the dealer reset the PATS system with the new computer. The PCM and the keys are not the only parts to the PATS system, the dash cluster/computer is part of it as well.

 

Does anyone else know what the part # I need for the CUX2 computer?
