I rotated the engine picture to make it easier to see ...

Looks like a 3 belt system - Unless the alternator under the supercharger snout is driven some other way ... Maybe the mystery device with the blue ***** is power steering ....

I heard the only one coming to these parts was going to to be sold at silent auction and should go for $225,000. I wonder if they would finance that at 3.9%. I could always get the wife to get a 2nd job.

The pump on the side of the engine is the oil pump. It's a dry sump system and it will be that way in production. The engine sits so low in the frame there is no room to make a pan deep enough to hold 6qts of oil and fit .
It's set up much like what you see on a Winston cup car. Except the oil storage can is in the engine compartment. Where as the stock car has the oil storage and cooling system in the car behind the driver.
The body pannels are a combination of aluminum and a new composit material to distribute the weight.
By the way. Bill Ford has the very first production GT reserved for himself. When your names on the car you get first pick of the litter. Can't blame him. I'd do it....
You should see it run. Just a sweet car. Can't wait to see it tear up that Viper! Now we just need some brave owners with some brass B*lls to put a few in 24HR rolex daytona next year. Put the hype to rest and show it's a true contender like it predecessor and not just a garage queen.

They are Making 3 of them in 2003 to commemorate the 1-2-3 Finish at LeMans of the originals. Then for 2004 REgular production will start. It'll probably be a thousand units a year. Correct me if i'm wayy off on that figure.
