Some pics of my new mods...

A mod I've been wanting to do for a while now and finally can say I got it done! Removed that ugly front plate!

I installed my 90mm mass air and cold air intake filter.

Also I installed my SVO single blade throttle body. (Love how that sounds)

Lastly, I installed my most recent mod. My smaller upper pulley. It's a 2.80 and makes another pound-pound and a half of boost or so. I pressed it on there myself with the pulley puller tool and it went on fine. Great install day for my and the L.
Going to TRY to do the driveshaft loop and traction bars tonight. wish me luck. If I get them done, I can go to the track tomorrow night after work. Keep reminding me that.
"The traction bars won't install themselves..."
Thanks again for all your help, Shane

that is the upper pulley tool. (thanks for the bottom pic rob, got it from your gallery.)
But install wasnt hard at all. I am going to get a stock upper also and then change stock to 2.80 every now and then. Put stock size back on and have little less stress on the motor. I just havent gotten it yet because I want to test out the added boost set up. Should do pretty well as long as I dont create more Heat than boost right? I've already got the 4# lower and the gauge read around 12-13 with 4#er, now it reads around 13-14. So we'll see. Anyone else using uppers and lowers, and have advise for me? Do i need to let it sit after runs, or can I run it like I used to? Thanks, Shane

thanks... Thanks...

I am going to run it I guess like how I ran the 4#er. Cause Either way your stressing the blower/motor/rods... and it's all bad. So now I'm just putting a little more stress on it. Like running a 5 or 6#er instead of my 4. But even a 4# lower is stressen the motor. So drive it and hope it doesnt blow up hah? Will do, but I am going to try to get something in there to cool it down.
A supercooler and electric fans I am looking into now.
Thanks, Shane

Thanks charles. Rob_02Lightning what kind of set up are you running with and without the nitrous. Do you still use the upper pulley? Do you run any kind of cooler? I am looking now into coolers, anything you reccomend? Thanks, Shane McKenna
