Question True Blue crashed in MS??

I was driving home yesterday (Sunday) in the wife's car from the Coast, and saw a True Blue Lightning that had just been towed out of the median (ditch) south of Magee, MS on Hwy 49. It appeared to be the only vehicle involved and it had been raining a lot, so assumed they hit some standing water and hydro-planed.

Was it anyone here?

I didn't see any damage, just a lot of mudd to clean out from underneath. I think it was out of state plates, but not for sure.

Saturday, we were at the Colisium here in Jackson. But, yes, I went. Tim was there, but he wasn't racing. I won the Novice class.

This coming Saturday (June 21) is the autocross at the air force base in Columbus. Are you coming?

Track123, where exactly is Magee? Between Jackson and Hattiesburg, or Hattiesburg and Gulfport? The reason I ask is that I spent some time in that area and it sounds familiar. Did a lot of fishing at Flint Creek reservoir near Wiggins.

Marc,

Magee is between Hattiesburg and Jackson. The exact location was at Mount Olive if you've ever driven through there.

I used to live in Wiggins. Got to know Flint Creek very well.

Had a lot of good times in that area Chris. Flint Creek has a lot of nice fish in it. Spent a lot of time in the Gulfport area, on the beaches, the barrier islands, and etc. Would like to revisit there someday soon.

Chris thats awesome, have you done anything with your suspension yet? I was going to go to that event but decided against it b/c the only reason I was going was to see my friend (Tim) and he was busy etc. I might go to the one in Columbus, need to change my brake fluid.

Holy damn...I saw that same truck when it first went into the median .I was reluctant to post about it. It had just started raining(actually pouring is a better word) and he was still trying to get out of the median when we passed by him. I wanted to stop and help but there was little I could have done, we were coming back from Florida to Texas in the wifes BMW.

He didn't seem to be injured and the truck seemed fine as well.....just muddy as all hell like you said.

There was also a wrecked SUV of some sort on the southbound side of the road about a half mile down the street. Then a few more on the northbound side a few miles up the street.
