My T.B. is from JDM. The previous owner had it installed with part of their Stage I&II packages back in '01. I noticed that the butterfly says SVO and it's actually upside down. It's a goldish color, not stainless. Is this right?

Thanks,

Dan

whats the point? you dont really see much gain even with a single blade, the svo is still a double...and doesnt look much different than the stock setup..hardly worth the money IMO...unless you can get it in chrome or billit, but even then its just another "bling" item, no gains to be had, very slight throttle reponse improvement at best

I love how mine sounds. Some may or may not foot the money for it, but like I said I got it for $200, and I think it's worth what I payed for it. Some guys on here have payed $400-$500 for it, But some others may say they wont pay $100 for it.
Thanks, Shane

100 bux I would do it just for the bling factor, maybe even 200 if its a billit piece...other than that its not worth anything to me...especially if its 400-500 bux, what a joke ya know?

Dan SS,, those originaly SVO T. B. where for mustangs,, thats why you have to flip em over,, or turn em around,, and the Butterflys are Brass,, On another note, I had a JDM s.b. i got exactly 2 yrs ago,, well, it allways would stick a little, and adjusting the screw, it would idle eratic and high,, so i just put the stock one back on,, till recently, i dug it out, and asked on this and other mess. boards, about how to get it fixed,, ( because of my job, i could never get in touch with JDM on fixing it or replacing it) JDM was NO help either So after trying to fix it myself, ( i tried to sand down the butterfly ) i thought i ruined it,,, Well Doug from Billetflow saw my post, and after a couple of e-mails and 1 phone coversasion, i sent it to them and they not only fixed it and sent it back in bolt on condition, he actually REPOLISHED it!!! since i had some nasty water spots on it,, All this at N.C. !!!!! yes that is NO CHARGE,, and i can tell you this also,, since i had been driving around with the stock one on, when my NEW billetflow was bolted back on IT, 1 idled better than stock, 2 built MORE boost in 2nd and 3rd gear,, and had better throttle responce!! Sorry for the long post,, but i have NOT had this kind of customer sevice in MANY MOONS!!!! www.billetflow.com regards,,Greg
