Autometer Gauges "phantom series"

Does anyone have these gauges? What are they like at night?

I want a good looking gauge, but not sure which ones to get.

How accurate are the A/F ratio gauges? Do I need to get a special one to be accurate at WOT?

There AF guages are more or less just light shows. One of the "modified" ones for WOT is better than a regualar, but not worth a lot.

As far as the Phantom; I have them, and they look great! They have the black trim which matches the stock interior, and I used a green bulb so they almost match the stock lighting. I could not justify the Lunars; and the silver trim does not match right.

So, should I pick up a regular A/F gauge or get one that is adjusted for WOT?

I'm just worried that I'm not going to be able to get on a dyno after I get my diablo chip. So, I want a guage to tell me if I should worry about the A/F ratio or not. I know they aren't real accurate, but If it stays around the stock A/F then there should be no reason to get on a dyno.

I am about to get a set installed and was wondering where you got the green bulbs and what exact type? Maybe this will save me from trying to color match them myself...

Really? Sweet...so why do many prefer Lunars? Does the color match even better? I originally expected the Phantoms to not match at all but I guess they do!

another

fyi for ya

Take a blue sharpie and make an x over the outside of the green bulb cover.....the marker will kinda bead up but will dry....

After about a month it will fade in and it matches the stock guages pretty decent.

Ive seen the lunar first hand and don't like them. The trim isn't a good match and the light of the guage isn't such a great match to the dash either.

not a good picture. the color is real close at night. During the day it is white like the gauge during the day.

Cool

HI!... I'm running the AUTO METER "PHANTOM SERIES" gauges in my truck. They are nice and bright at night and easy to read in the daytime. As for the A/F ratio gauge. I wouldn't run the AUTO METER version IMO. I would run a NORDSKOG analog A/F gauge. Here's a pic and the site.
