What a/f ratio would trip this code? IS it a preset number or does it just do it when the computer is exposed to a long lean condition? I ask this becasue my friends 01 with a 10lb puley and flip chip keeps showing lean codes on his scanner.

 

What code is it throwing?

Depending on the code it may be something like a changed fuel filter, or fuel filter installed backwards.

 

hes never changed the fuel filter on it. the truck is not daily driven. Only has 5,000 miles on it and it is a 01.

 

I was just giving an example. It's any buddies guess with out the code # though. Doug has access the the exact reason why a code is thrown, given a code number.
