I just test drove a 2000 Lightning. Bone stock, runs great. The dealer wants $26,995. Doesn't that sound a little high? It is white with 40,000 miles.

Waaaay too high! That truck should be around 22ish from just eyeing the mileage and the fact that it's a 2000.

 

I sold my 01 L with 9,000 miles on with a bad *** system and mods for 26,000.

I bought my 2000 for 24,000 without taxes, it had 24000 miles on it, lowered, tonoue cover, spray in bed liner, intake, chip, but i bought brand new tires for it and it came out to be 27,000 total. BTW it came with a 5 year extended warrenty which came in handy since i blew a plug.

 

The bad thing is, their aren't any other Lightnings in my area. So, im sure some idiot will come along and lay down the $26,995 and buy it. Oh well, I guess I will keep looking on the net. I was hoping for a 2001 or newer for about $22,000. Does this sound possible?

 

hell for another 2700 you could get a 2003 with 0 miles on it just a thought
