Question Fog Light Mod

I know I have seen this somewhere but like an idiot forgot to mark it. Can someone post a hyperlink or the address to the site that explains how to fix the fogs so you can run them with out the headlights please?????? also has anyone done this and how many things am i going to tear up trying to do it?

Like I said before......how much am I going to tear up trying to do this????? well, as described in the instructions when you cut the #2 and #12 wires and splice them together this doesnt work. well, thinking once i did this I would forever be through with these wires I cut the wires at the harness!!!!!!!!!!!Now the mod didnt work and I dont have any tail or parking lights!!!!!!!cant fix it due to not enough wire coming from the harness! Other than go to ford and buy another wiring harness does anyone have a suggestion?

The problem I see here is you don't cut the #2 and #12 wires and splice them together as you describe you did. You just place a "jumper" wire from the #2 and #12 wires with blue wire taps leaving the wires intact. This works for 2000-2003 models and is described here:

99's you place a jumper wire connecting the dark brown and white w/ black stripe wires as described here:

I would suggest you replace the PINS in the harness,
splice the two wires IN PLACE, and never touch your truck
again.
