worst day of my life

well, i picked up my brand new black L on may 22, and needless to say i love it. i wouldn't trade it for a ferrari. but on this past tuesday, i was driving to work on the freeway, and a van in the lane next to me and a little ahead of me swerved around a tire tread in the road. he tried to miss it, but he still hit it, and a lrge piece of it came straight at me. it hit my front bumper, and bent my new lower billet grille to *****. i put the grille on four days befor. it also left a dent in the loer portion of the bumper cover, and the grille scratched one side of it. grrrrrr!

p.s. i still haven't made my first payment yet and i have to get body work done.

That sucks, but Iam sure it seemed like the worst day at the time, with your brand new truck.

I had a car in front of me run over a hubcap running 70/75 one morning on the New Jersey Turnpike. Came up and blasted the windshield. Got the plate # and went to the local police after work. It was explained to me that if the object that struck my vehicle didn't come off the car in front of me, then the vehicle was NOT to blame. Maybe, I could have gone after the highway authority, but I just sucked it up

You'll bounce back bud. Look at the bright side....this would be an excellent time to get an aftermarket grille and start your mods!

I kow how you feel to get a brand new truck and have something happen to it. It sucks, but that is what insurance is for.

I remember this spring I was driving to NJ when truck lost a big chunk of a retred tire. It hit the windshield of a girl driving right infront of me, and shatterd her windshield. I did the gentleman thing and pulled over behind her(she was cute)

I then followed her to a rest area about a mile up the road and let her use my cell phone. She called her father who came and picked her up.

I haven't heard from her since, but it made me feel better helping a little cutie out.

I was in a parking lot once as I witnessed a hit and run. This girl's silver Jetta got rear ended by a big Silverado backing up. The guy kept on going and I noticed the Jetta had temp tags. Well luckily she walked out 10 minutes after this incident and we broke the news to her (she didn't even notice that the back bumper was caved in and sagging).

It turns out she had picked up her new graduation present just 2-3 hours before this accident! It had less than 20 miles on the odo!
