The system is 100% stainless, including the welds. I got mine from Larry at SBD muffler co for $310 plus shipping. I don't believe any supporting vendors sell this unit so I hope i'm not breaking any rules here. his email is larrywp@pacbell.net

I was very happy with his price and service, my bud is getting his magnaflow stuff for his mustang from him.

I am surprised that no one carries this CB...

Not even BOP or LFP? They usually stock more than one brand of stuff....

Well I tried to get it installed today..... and could not get the stock off. I tried heating it up and had no luck.... I will have to take it into a shop and have it done. PS I did not have any access to a SUV or help.

1 Loosen the mid from the manifold for instalation of new catback

2 take ground effect of that exhaust runs through.

3 I used a rachet strap on mine to get the stock exhaust off.

4 the orange rubber things are hard as he!! to get off.

These are some of the things i wish i had know when i was installing my catback

Just use a porta power, or a small hydraulic jack. No problem

I hope you're kidding... The factory exhaust is VERY efficient, but not as loud as most people would like. That is the ONLY difference in upgrading the exhaust. No measurable HP or TQ gains...

I didn't but my Magnaflow for the HP, I knew it wouldnt "free up" or make any additional. I bought it for the sweet looks, easy cleaninig of the tips, and beautiful note it makes on startup, WOT, and slow-downs....
Call magnaflow for my dyno #'s. I forget all the #'s but it does make power. I think 18 is incorrect unless they used another truck to do those runs. When i gave them the truck stock, it made about 11 hp/16 lbs of torque with just the CB. Picked up another 16 or so with added high flow converters.

Put the mods back on and ended up with 417 RWHP/513 tq with 4# lower, maggy cabtback, ftvb, jlp ram air kit and custom chip with 16 degrees timing on street side and 91 octane @ 81F degrees outside temp. That was the 4th and final run.

The catback shows its gains on the low end of the power band and extends the power throughout the curve. People have been denying the catback makes power.. Those are the people who dont own one.

Installation tip that helps a ton! Spray the orange rubber hangers down with wd40 or some other type of spray lube and then pull them off. it makes it a ton easier!
