I just installed a set of 2 inch Belltech drop shackles. Is it necessary for me to cut off the last yellow stopper which is located directly above the axle housing? I don't carry anything in the bed plus I have my hitch and spare tire removed.

All suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

 

I just took them off, cut them in half and reinstalled them.
