Bang for the buck, I think your LS1 is still a better value mod-wise. However, there's nothing like leaving a sports car in the dust with a truck!

If you want cheap 11s, stick with the LS1. If you wanna beat people in style and have something to tow or haul, the Lightning would be your best bet.

 

I could have told you that. I am growing tiresome of my car, and I love trucks, and it would be fun to work my butt off to get a truck running low 12s/ high 11s, possibly low 11s. Actually I am trying to get my sign business going and the truck would help me bring in work, and I could do alot of jobs easier in a truck then a camaro. So best bang for the buck, for me, would be the lightning. Still have a badass daily driver that runs strong, and have room in the back for my sign supplies etc.

Oh and My sign business magnetic signs look alot nicer on a lightning then they do on a z28. IMO. lol.

Too many kids have camaro's and trans ams, there ****y like me and when a lightning pulls up there just like psshh.. I had to find out the hardway that most of them that run around arlington, aren't no 10pounds of boost anymore.

Plus the backseat driver crap. yea no more of that.

Man I could keep going on and on.

Eventually I will have me and lightning like I want, and another trans am or camaro later down the road, but I'm going to try to not worry about that now, and just get my lightning and have a blast.

EDIT: I know im just a kid, but I also have my priorities (sp?) and the last thing is how fast my car is. Just give me time, and I won't have no cheap 11 sec ride. It'll be long hard hours put into it, and it will be a 11 sec ride (hopefully the lightning).
