Fuel Pressure

Can anyone tell me what I should be seeing for fuel pressure?

At idle?
At WOT (what boost)?

fuel pressure

agreed

I get around 30 at idle and just above 50 at wot with 12lbs. This is on a autometer phantom electric fuel pressure guage.

Boost has nothing to do with it unless your leaning out.

I'm pretty sure boost has something to do with fuel pressure. I believe the stock fuel pressure regulator is a 1:1. If with no vacuum you have 39psi fuel pressure at 10psi boost you should have 49 psi fuel pressure and at 15psi boost you should have 54psi fuel pressure.

the fuel regulator is boost sensative unit so how would boost not matter. Thats why there's a line going to it .

sal's told me before that with the line connected its about 31 to 32 psi and with it off around 39 to 40 psi.

I guess you learn something every day. But I've never heard of a stock fuel setup making any more or less than 52 lbs at WOT. That's from no pulley to 8lbs over. And it could be pressure sensative and not make a difference past a certain amount of boost. Maybe I was just misinformed.

In any event, my gauge(AutoMeter) moves very linearly to my gas pedal.

i fried a few valves once w/ out the fuel pressure vacumm line hooked up. boy was that an expensive mistake
w/ my 50 lb. injectors i set my fuel pressure at 29 psi under vac. and it comes up to about 45 under boost making 15 psi using a 10 lb. lower

Do you mean a 10" (8lb lower)?
