I got a cordless phone. Was left as a gift under the seat. No doubt it got there during a 'spirited' test drive

 

LOL @ nathan. You better believe it. I worked at a dealership for a few months. all the driving tests of the cars that were just fixed were "spirited" at my dealership...

a guy i work with's brother works for a local dealer. he said a lady brought in a camaro once that had a bad rattle around the hatch. he said they looked for it and found the area it was coming from, took off all the panels/carpet etc and found someone bent a welding stick and placed it so it would rattle all the time with a note that said " took you a while to find this, didnt it? ". dont know what happend from there but i am sure the lady was quite pissed to find that out.

An old favorite within ford was one of those 16oz glass coke bottles w/a note in side that said the same thing. "Took you a while to find this huh" (or words to that effect).

Fortunately these days we in engineering have methods of tracability and can track down EXACTLY who was working at the time of manufacture.
