I tried the search, but since the word air is under 4 letters it won't work.

Does anyone have the part# for the Idle Air Control Valve

my truck has allmost 50,000 miles and it may be time to change it out. I have cleaned it a few times, but may be time for a new one.

if you do a search for idle AND control and search titles only you'll come up with a post I made a couple of weeks ago. I don't know if I got the right part #. I think it isn't the right part, even the the parts counter guy says it was, but it works okay...

 

I called Ford and they gave me this #

Cliff is that the same # you got??

That is strange. The part # on my stock idle air control is XS2E 9F715BA. The parts guy said it was for a sable. He gave me one for an F150 and it works okay, but the plug is straight instead of at a 90° down turn and it makes it tough to attach the wire to the control valve...
