It has an internal x pipe. Before I put it on I looked inside with my maglite and it has an internal x pipe with a uniquely elongated crossover area. I'm very happy.

The hardware is all stainless. I forgot to take pics of the system off the truck, It's really a nice piece. Maybe when I get teh truck on a lift i'll take pictures of the whole thing. The polished muffler is sweet (bling!)

It came with bassani-looking band clamps that I skipped using after hearing all of the stories about them popping off. This was strange since others told me theirs came with stainless u bolt clamps. I simply re-used the stock ones. I'll try and take better pictures with the truck on a lift and in brighter light one of these days. It rained all day today.

cat back

I'm glad to here your install went well, I've never seen a Expedition used as a come-along before, nice job. The system looks great and I'm looking foward to hearing that sound clip. Nice job, Todd

"Mister". a great post, but it appears

that your tips are nearly flush with valence opening, especially the front one? If so, just like mine and others who've complained about tip placement? Imaginative use of Expy! Love the sound of mine, plus I've deluded myself into thinking it has more power, too!

The tips are fluch with the opening, yes, but they come out at a good angle and don't have the nasty weld showing like some complained about. I think the tips being flush with the opening is something more of a personal preference, and I like the more subtle appearance they have being flush. It would be nice if magnaflow designed the tips like the mustang kits, where you can slide them in and out so they stick out to your preference.

For example, Joe (soap) modified his bassani tips so they wouldn't stick out.

They are the same angle as Gators.........that is a Bassani catback kit.

But I did modify it to fit perfectly flush with the ground effect........I did not want it to stick out at all.

DUDE!!!! Looks awesome..............glad to see you're getting away from "stock"!!

Who helped you with it..................You should have emailed me or something, and I'd of helped you out, even though I am mechanically uninclined! I could have stepped on the brake, or undone a strap, or something.

You going to Tower's on Friday if it doesn't rain??

I had my buddy John help me out with it.

No towers for me this fri

Here's a pic that shows the space between the tips for Krix. The pic is trash and was one of my "throw out" ones but it shows that there's plenty of space between both tips.

help!!!

im trying to put mine on right now (typing w/ ***** all over my hands), about the twisting of the cat pipes, i got the pass side one under the driv side, but its still not low enough.... do you just have to force the pass side down and the driver's side up? i'v e been bending them pretty hard and they're just not moving enought to line up and i'm worried about breaking something. maybe i'm missing something but please let me know!!! thanks

Justin
