How Hard Is It To Flip Shims?

I'm tired of the vibration. Is flipping the shim around similair to installing shackles as far as raising up the truck and supporting the rear end. Do I need to completely ubolt the u-bolts or do they just need to be loosened?

Any help is appreciated

If you take the shims out, you will need to have the rear realigned at a shop.

No I want to flip the ones that are in there. '03 have shims. All I want to do is flip the fat part towards the back instead of front.

Is an alignment still necessary then?

Yes, you will need an alignment.
