This subject has been viisted amny time on this board.
However, I'll give you my two cents... I ran a 4 lb pulley with out a chip for 3 months never had a problem. I had a chip but took it off cuz I was hearing dettenation with it on. I took it off and upped my octane to 94 and used some octane booster. I was very happy with the resaults.

Peace, Suavy

Your truck should loose some bost with ported heads. What kind of head work are you talking about. Do you have a filter kit of any kind? I get 10 lbs with a filter kit.

The computer should be able to handle a 4# Pulley with no problem. Go for it!

The guy who had it before me worked for the dealership I bought it from and the sales manager and the previous owner were good friends, and the sales manager said that it had head work. I still have yet to talk to the previous owner as we work the same hours and we are about 2 hours apart. The previous ownere was not there because I bought it at 830 p.m. one night. I still have the stock filter in it, but I am getting ready to buy a new one. What kind of times can I hope for with the 4lbr?
