Kind of curious as to how most of you prep your truck prior to going to the track.

Well, I run around town til I onl;y have a third of a tank of gas.
Then stop by Sherwyn-Williams for 5 gallons of rocket fuel (Also
known as Toluene!). Throw the slicks and my mack-daddy jack
in the back and take off to the track. Pour the Toluene in and
switch to the "RACE" program. Unhook the battery to clear all
the tables.

Buy two hot dogs and go racing!!!!

Get there on a empty tank, put some race fuel in, thech in. Then go to the pits, put a towel on the intake and then put a bag of ice on it. While the truck is cooling down, I put my slicks on, adgust my shocks and then wait for the motor to cool down.

If you want to go real fast remove the tailgate and spare.

I allways make sure I stop and buy ice before I get to the track.

I dam near kill myself jacking it up on a rock driveway,
I put my Hoosiers on, set them at @18
(next time I try @11)
I put my Juice Bottle and Brackets on
Hook up the juice and bottle warmer, then open the lines
Change my Upper Pulley
and then hit the Parkway like that
(set up takes @ 1/2 hour)
I PURGE IT ON THE RIDE THERE A FEW TIMES
When I get there, I buy the kid some candy,
put him on the stands, and go racing just like that.
No race fuel, no cool down, no nothing.
I strongly believe in run it like you brung it

Thats how I run it on the street
So thats the numbers I'm interested in.

I did however drive to Cecil on the F-1's and change them there and for the first and only time, I used Race Fuel too.

After racing I

Except I deviated from that at Cecil and Blew an 11 sec run
GATOR MADE ME DO IT

1/2 a tank or a little less(weight is usually 4,670 lbs with me in it)--put the M/Ts on at home--get helmet--pour in 1/2 a can of Torco Accelerator--leave the t/g 'on' and 'up'--pay $20--tech in--check air in the M/Ts(20 psi--hot)--remove the CB antenna--fold the mirrors in--check the torque on the AREs--let it cool for maybe a 1/2 hour--no ice(but I should use it)--disconnect the battery(h/l sw. on for 5 mins)--reconnect the battery--tune in the radio to the track's FM station--roll up to the staging lane--try to be first in line for better track prep.............and then start SMOKIN'
