How do you make time to install your mods?

I've had some things I've wanted to install for over a month now!
The 90mm mass air and cold air intake is easy, just haven't gotten around to it. Chips I got swapped out and I sold my single program Diablo, so thats nice. Now I have a dual program Superchip. I still have to install the traction bars. That shouldn't be that bad. It's just tomorrow is my birthday and graduation and Sunday I leave for Wisconsin Dells. We are going up there to meet with family and celebrate. I may stick around Sunday and work on the truck Sunday, and meet them up later that night. I've got to install my SVO single blade throttle body and adjust the TPS with Joe. Ya free Sunday Joey?
I've already got the et streets mounted to the rims. So I guess Im almost ready for the track. Hah. It just sucks buying all this stuff and seeing it sit. If i dont get to it this weekend I'll be upset. So if there is anyone around the area who can put my new mods to use on their truck, please come by and get em'. I hate seeing them sit and take up space. Thanks, Shane

Pfft, I get mad because I don't have enough money to buy mods! I get them on the day I get em I used to go to school after work, but i'm done. So now its all about the truck, naps, or ... *shrug*... I have to much time I think. =)

You gotta prioritize man. Quit your job and mod the truck.

Besides it's summer Shane! Shouldn't you be out taking roadtrips, getting drunk and high, and banging girls?

First thing that comes in my life is my truck. Then if I have time left over, I will eat and sleep and work.

There is NO EXCUSE PERIOD
you find time to eat and schitt don't you ?

90% of mine were done in the snow, rain, deep winter, and even sometimes in the dark.

And I'm an old man who has to lay on my back on a rock driveway
to do it.

Lately ive gotten my girlfriends to wash my truck. After they are done, a give em my tool, send them on the merry way and perform the mods in peace. One must spend quality time with their truck

shane,

Whats up brotha. Don't make me drive my broke *** L up to Illinois and force you to put those mods on. With those mods, your gonna smoke that roush 360R next time

Since I can't have a nicely running truck, I am forced to live vicariously through the rest of you all Report back your 1/4 mile times once you get everything together.

Well you can always look at it this way..If they are on the truck..there is nothing to ogle over in the house..Then you put them on..and have to buy more mods to look at and have as conversation pieces...

LOL

Another thing rob you make it even worse (for holding off so long on install). I work at an oil change on the weekends, so I've got the pit to work in. (i did my shackles, exhaust, removed spare tire hitch in the past) The traction bars I can install there from down below. so thats even worse of me for not installing them. My excuse is the last few weekends Ive been on my bike. So hopefully this weekend i'll get mostly everything on and I'll let you know how i like them.
Still NO excuse for this one and I need to look at my priorities. Thanks, Shane

I can totally relate. I've got 50HP of stuff sitting in the garage as well as some appearance stuff that I've been building up and I have NO idea when I will be able to install it.

thats a pic of the SVO does it install upside down? With the tps on the left and the throttle lever on the right?
And can I install it now or do i NEED to adjust the tps with that electronic volt meter thing now? a buddy of mine has a volt meter, what is it we are looking for? If we can adjust it here, we'll do it with the volt meter he has. thanks Shane
