Lightnings Really Can Tow...

Well I got a new toy yesterday!

Weighs around 3000 lbs. and the L towed it without breaking a sweat. I could definately tell it was back there, but accelerating and braking was still excellent. I did notice that on the interstate, while not actually in the boost, you could hear the supercharger while maintaining speed. Of course this does not happen without a load. Anyway can't wait to get back to the lake!!

4#, no chip, pulling a boat, no problem!

One of the other lightning owners (I THINK it was Silver_2000_
Towed a trailer full of drain stuff incl 500 lbs of concrete in his bed, then did a burnout just to see how it worked with his trailer

Thanks Konig! Actually I just put my hitch back on the other day! And I also have 2" drop shackles, and the back end is not squatting bad at all. The tounge weight is not that much.

its kind of a shame I have never owned a boat and I live so close to the ocean. The only time I ever get to go out in one is when I go to the keys to my uncle's and take out his flats boat. Ill have to invest in one "some day" ...

Cool

Great-looking boat!!!

Even better looking since it's being towed by a Lightning...and a RED one at that.
