Today was Hell!

It's been four weeks today that my truck has been in the shop. I got used to driving a truck that makes your drive time to work and back each day a blast. Now I'm driving a 02 custom van. Good lord it sucks! Having my truck in the shop for so long is making me crazy. There is a little hope that Ford will do the right thing. Don't want to say anything about what's up just yet. I feel like the guy with the cloud over me. This 03 (and most of the aftermarket parts I bought) have had a lot of problems but boy do I miss driving it! Today was the first day I realized how much I missed it.
I don't think you can know what this is like unless you walk mile in my shoes.

I drive a ton of miles each month and I have a ranger to save money on gas and put less miles on the Lightning. I still drive the Lightning nearly everyday. It is a love hate thing.

Hope things get better for you Jerry. I know people on here have given you ***** but all I know is that I would be dying if I were in your position so I empathize.

And if it makes you feel any better, I have to put around in a 1997 Nissan Altima GXE (2.4 liter, auto, tan) in the winter...

I feel for you man. When I blew a plug because of parts backorders and two blizzards, my truck was in the shop for 34 days.

Cyntaxx is the classic example of the "poor college student" scraping by with 2 summer cars and one winter beater. Poor guy.

j/k Maybe I can be poor like you when I go to college.

Jerry, you're forgetting the old days Over the course of its 3 year lifespan, my truck has spent almost 7 months in the shop. Much of that was the intercooler leak

Shall we take up a collection?

My truck has been in the shop since March 8, with no projected completion in sight. I was hoping to have it back in time for Willow Springs on July 12, but that is beginning to look very doubtful. Been driving my 95 h.p. VW. Don't tell me about withdrawals. I think I'd really be p****d if I had to make payments on the sucker.

Lost my truck for 62 days while it was in the shop with just 3000 miles on it. My friend borrowed it and cracked it up. It is back now though and i love it. I had to drive a 98 5 speed 4 cyl corolla. It sucked big time.

Hehehe no need. My buddy has a line on those trannies so it should only be a couple of hundred bucks. Motor still runs strong on it.

Fast Gator:

Your not fooling me one bit...that car is "standard issue" for the Federal Witness Protection Program". How clever of you to hide the tag...those houses in the pic are really "dummy" ones with one side view only...and those other cars are Fed vehicles...
BUSTED !
