This was last night at 9:30. It cooled off a lot. Temp was probably 58-60.

I didn't cut the excess vacuum line for the gauge. There's about an extra 1 - 1 1/2 feet under there. Think that could have anything to do with it? All connections appear to be leak free. May'be I'll try some soapy water when I get home to check them. I'll give you a ring when I get home. There's a couple of things that concern me. No need to write a book here.

So any reports from last night..............

I ended-up parting alittle to hard to go racing
But I sucked alot of gas thru the blower yesterday, it's amazing how fast you can burn gas if you really try.
The F-1's took alot of abuse also

You missed it! It was the best night of racing at Etown ever! The air was perfect, the traction was awesome and everybody made the 11's, except Vinnie whose bed was loaded up with a set of 20's and some tools.

Just kidding...it sucked. Usual E-town BS. $40 to race in the challenge, $20 in gas, $20 in food, and they allowed ONE time shot. How the F can you dial in with one time shot . Since the purse was $1000, a lot of the pros that race Heavy on Sundays were there. Of course Mike and I had to race these guys. I red lighted (with a .488). Mike also red lighted and Blueballz got knocked out of the first round too. I would have broke out anyway (the air got really good) and the guy I raced dialed in at 11.40 and ran 11.409. Kind of tough to beat.

Vinnie's truck looked good, from what we could see under the lights. I especially liked the blue outline on the flames. Vinnie, your truck sounded mean from the staging lanes when you took off.

What a long night.

I got there late and only got 2 runs in.

I ran with the tools and 20s in the back. Went over the scales at 5224
I ran a 13.1 and a 12.7

But I did not care. It was great just to go racing again.

Remember V
Your only as good as your last run
13.1 Hu

Oh now I really cant wait for my track to close this year.
So lets see, I get to drive out of State and spend prob 5 hours round trip on the road to go to Eng Town to wait on line all night and then get 1 or MAYBE 2 runs in. Boy I can't wait
And to boot I'm sure hundreds of New Yorkers will be doing the same thing since we'll no longer have ANY TRACKS, making the lines even longer.

Shouldn't there be a seperate track for those annoying ricers
OR SOMETHING
I'm not talking about the 8 second one's, I'm talking about the 17 second ones

Thumbs down E-Town....

Yeah, I have had it with that joint......Same chit everytime you go there.....Hurry up and wait...and wait...and wait....And none of the a-holes working the staging lanes have any idea what the heck they are doing....

Hey, I have an idea......Lets get all us tri-state guys together, chip in, buy some property, and build our own friggin track...This way we can race whenever we want, and get as many runs in as we want.....

Screw E-Town!!!!

COUNT ME IN

What is the Law on Tracks ???

Lets say 50 or a 100 people did chip in and bought a 1/2 mile of flat straight land, put a surface on it and a tree and clock. Could we have a PRIVATE track and run there when we wan't ???

Gator's Brew + Broads could be right at the turn around,
so we could each stop in for a Beer + BJ after each run
