I still think you should go with some gold 100-spoke Daytons in 13s...

Mmmmm....Boyd's...good choice. I've got the 18x10 Smoothie II's on my camaro. Everytime I go out, I get a compliment on them. Buy the Boyd's, you won't be disappointed.

Those are good. Is that price per wheel? Yikes.
I like the classic look. The less frills, the better.

I am surprised that more people don't buy billet 22's (assuming they have that kind of money). Sometimes they are cheaper and usually lighter than the chrome alternatives, and I personally think they look 1000 times cleaner. Guess it is a personal preference thing, but I think that the famous truck below is a fine example of how nice billets can look.

Don't buy them directly from Boyd. Call Discount Tire Direct, they get a huge discount on Boyds. On Boyd's site, my wheels were 445 per wheel. I got them for 275 per wheel through DTD. 800-589-6789. Ask for Kade O'Connor, tell him that Joey Walnuts sent you. He'll get you a helluva deal on the wheels and tires.

I will retract the "famous" statement, but I didn't want to post the pic without giving credit where it is due.

FYI fellas, most billet wheel's don't have any protection (i.e. clearcoat) so if you want them to keep looking nice you'll need to polish them up on occassion so they need a lot more maintenance then some chromies. They don't clean themselves you know.

cyntaxx,

What's with the snipe comments all of a sudden dude Hanging out with Joey a little too much maybe ????
