Car alarm suggestions?

Anyone have a suggestion for a good alarm system. I would like to get a clifford or viper since i can get good prices on them. I just dont know what model to get.

I want it to :

1. unlock/lock door (have a electric locking bed cover that is hooked into the current stock remote)

2. Remote start

3.maybe roll up the windows (depending on how much extra it costs)

4. I want the remote to page me if the alarm sounds and Im not close enough to hear it.

5. If they can make a kill switch to cut off the engine that would be good too.

thanks in advance for any help

I think the roll up windows is about 50 bucks per window...at least thats what my stereo shop quoted me.

I've got a Clifford Inteligard 7000 and it's been great. It's already detered two theft attempts to my stereo system. You can pretty much add any option to it that you want. The main thing to consider is the installation. You want to make sure they do a good job of wiring and hiding the brain. Most reputable shops will give you a lifetime warranty on the installation also. Clifford and Viper are both owned by the same company (DEI) and put out good quality alarm suystems. Good luck

Not sure what they would charge just for the installation. Mine was about $450.00 including alarm. I had a hood pin switch (a must), they tied into my remote door switch and dome light and I had a battery back up siren (a must) added. Don't let any hack do it though, as installation of an alarm is more complicated than a stereo system. I would have them price it both ways, with alarm and providing your own alarm. They might be able to do the whole thing cheaper if they provide the alarm and you would have a warranty also
