Talking Need Opinions On these Rims...Thanks :)

Hey guys, I'm looking to possibly upgrade my stock rims to either 20's or 22's...I found a set of almost new Harley 20' rims and tires for a good price...Has anyone ever seen a Lightning with harley rims on it???

Also, I found these rims, and I was wondering your opinions...They make them both in 20 and 22...Would the 22's be too big??

can you get the second set of wheels in 22 in? That would be ideal.

Thanks guys for the opinions, keep them coming hehehe

Yes, you can get the 2nd set of rims, the boyds, in 22's...However, they are alot more $$$ and then tires are a hell of alot more $$$$$ LOL....

For the 20" Boyds and Nitto 305/40/20's , it would be $2500, not too bad...

For the same rims, in 22" and tires, 305/40/22, it would be $3656!!!! Just the rims alone would be $2500, the same as the whole package of 20's LOL

LOL...I've had my 01 since the fall of 01!!!! hahaha...I've had it mostly stock since then, just a PSP filter and chip....I've got a bunch of goodies though to put on, FTVB, Lakewoods, 6lb pulley, new chip, Magnaflow catback and FRPP lowering kit

I like both rims, but I think the Boyds would be a "better" quality rim, considering the first ones, 22's, are the same price as the Boyds in 20"...

2nd ones.

Although the Shysters and ones that Vinnie have are nice as far as Boyds go.

jeff...Me and you need to meet up sometime...I'm just down the street from you in Burke.

Agreed, but I think the Harley wheels would look better in silver powder coat (I'm an anti-bling guy).

When shopping for wheels, I asked myself whether these wheels would ever be seen on a Porsche, Ferrari, etc. The converse question is whether these wheels would ever been seen on an Expedition with rubber band tires and a Playboy license tag.

While the Boyd's come close, they both fail the second test.

Just my approach. The problem with bling bling is that (with a few exceptions) the people with real money have more taste than to flash around shiney bits -- it's only the poor who feel compelled to show off.

Yeah man, that sounds sweet...A buddy of mine, Nate (goes by Skorost here), live in the same apt complex in centreville actually...We are right off Rt 28 and Rt 29, where they cross, right down the road from Lifetime Fitness....He's got the 02 white L and mine is an 01 white L....His is completely badass though, built motor, cams, LOL....

You ever go down to excessive in manassas at all?? There are a TON of Lightnings that go there and hang out , especially on Saturdays!!!...

I saw the shysters, too thin for my taste, and I like those mongoose rims, really "different"...I think i'm gonna lean towards the Boyd's in 20's...

What rims does Vinnie have?? I took at look at his pics, they actually look like stock 01-02 rims in chrome, but they look good, and big enough in 20"..
