Cyntaxx, I have a question for you!

YOu have straight pipes correct? If so, where did you get the pipe for that and did you have to have it bent. How much did it cost. I have been running mufflerless temporarily and i am starting to like the sound. I just need to find a way to get piping to keep the exhaust fumes from the cab and so they come out the stock spot. i have mac tips i can use. I just need to know where you got the pipe and if you had it custom bent or can order them prebent. Thanks

Vinny

I know that Magnaflow sells mandrel bent SS tubing. If you have a welder your set.

SS T304 is expensive. I got mine used thanks to Sir Speedy. I won't divulge the price but it was in the double digits not including installation. When it was all said and done, including 2 trips to the exhaust shop (one for install, one to adjust for my JLP traction bars....welded everything and relocated/eliminated clamps and hangers) it was about 150 out the door

Also, I like it and probably will stick by it. Even when I do LTs and no cats, I would consider straight pipes.

But then again, I'm a mullet/flannel man from Southern Illinois!!

Do they mass produce that part or is it custom. My question i guess is can i order one bent for a lightning anywhere or do i have to buy the pipe and take it soemwhere and get it bent. Just curious. I want straight pipes soon because i have no muffler on right now and need to know about how to get them.

I would go to an exhaust shop you trust and have them do a custom setup for you. Should not cost that much and you can get the fit as you like. To my knowledge, no one makes a Lightning-specific straight pipe catback.

I dont think you'll like LT's, no cats and NO mufflers..

I run LT's, no cats and magnaflow straight-through mufflers and it is LOUD.. VERY LOUD...

But it sounds great, and I have no problems giving up a little torque for the extra HP..
